Ingredients
- Bone-in pork shoulder - 4.5 pounds
- Paprika - 2 TBSPs
- Oregano - 1 tsps
- Salt - 1 tsps
- Pepper - 1 tsps
- Cumin - 1/2 tsps
- Yellow onion - 1, diced
- Garlic cloves - 4, chopped
- Orange - 1, juiced
- Kosher salt - 2 tsps
- Pepper - 1 tsp
Instructions
- Place the diced onion, garlic and orange juice in your slow cooker
- In a small bowl, mix all of the spices together
- Trim excess fat then rub the spice mixture generously around the entire pork shoulder and place in the slow cooker
- Cook on low for 8 hours
- Shred the port and add the remaining salt and pepper
- Keep some liquid from the slow cooker for extra moisture
