Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • Bone-in pork shoulder - 4.5 pounds
  • Paprika - 2 TBSPs
  • Oregano - 1 tsps
  • Salt - 1 tsps
  • Pepper - 1 tsps
  • Cumin - 1/2 tsps
  • Yellow onion - 1, diced
  • Garlic cloves - 4, chopped
  • Orange - 1, juiced
  • Kosher salt - 2 tsps
  • Pepper - 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Place the diced onion, garlic and orange juice in your slow cooker
  2. In a small bowl, mix all of the spices together
  3. Trim excess fat then rub the spice mixture generously around the entire pork shoulder and place in the slow cooker
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours
  5. Shred the port and add the remaining salt and pepper
  6. Keep some liquid from the slow cooker for extra moisture
