Ingredients
- Jasmine rice - 1 cup
- Water - 1.5 cups
Instructions
- Optional: Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In an uncovered pot, combine the rice and water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Once boiling, cover the pot with a tight-fitting lid (no hole), move to a small burner and turn the heat to the lowest setting.
- Cook for 20 minutes. Don’t lift the lid!
- Turn off the heat and let the rice sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
- Fluff the rice.
