French Toast

  • Serve with maple syrup and butter

Ingredients

  • Sourdough baguette - 4 slices, 1 inch thick
  • Eggs - 2
  • Vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Butter and Maple Syrup

Instructions

  1. Slice bread at an angle to make the slices bigger
  2. Whisk together the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and milk in a bowl
  3. Put the bread slices in the bowl and sponge up the mixture with a fork
  4. Melt butter in a pan over medium heat
  5. Put the bread slices in the pan and pour the remaining egg mixture over the top
  6. Flip the slices a few times, cooking until golden brown on each side
