- Serve with maple syrup and butter
Ingredients
- Sourdough baguette - 4 slices, 1 inch thick
- Eggs - 2
- Vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- Milk - 1/4 cup
- Butter and Maple Syrup
Instructions
- Slice bread at an angle to make the slices bigger
- Whisk together the eggs, vanilla, cinnamon and milk in a bowl
- Put the bread slices in the bowl and sponge up the mixture with a fork
- Melt butter in a pan over medium heat
- Put the bread slices in the pan and pour the remaining egg mixture over the top
- Flip the slices a few times, cooking until golden brown on each side
